Lithops 'Talisman'

Postby brom » Sun Jan 28, 2018 7:13 am

Another interesting plant a hybrid of L. gesinae var. annae × L. gracilidelineata subsp. gracilidelineata var. gracilidelineata 8-)
Good that there are Oz Lithops :D Seeds ordered, sown shortly before the end of 2016, and shortly there were seedlings (photo from May 2017):

The germination rate reached 52%, which is not a bad result for hybrids 8-)
Today, a year later, the seedlings look like this:

Yes, David1971, I also find the plants very interesting. For this reason, I made a more seeding in September 2017 to have more plants for the selection. The seeds are from a different crop, this time I reached the germination rate of 79%. Today they look like this:

Good that someone in the Lithopsforum even interested in Lithops

Brom, you always come up with the most interesting cultivars that I haven't ever heard of.

Unique paterns ans shades.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks pvdw,
I also posted a photo of L. gracilidelineata today, maybe it's interesting for you too.

I'm always fascinated (jealous? ;) ) viewing the growth rate of your seedlings :!:

Thank you all for the positive review of my seedlings!

For me, they always grow too slowly... 8-)
