Hello,

as I have little place inside, I did leave the plants where they are. On sheltered shelves outside!

Temperatures didn`t fall much below -3°C in Berlin in the night this winter.
And daytime temperatures were always above 0°C.

The plants are fine!

Viele Grüße aus Berlin

Jürgen

:D :D Looking at your "not so cold" temps I get frostbite just thinking of it

Are all those pots Lithops or are there other plants as well?

Hello,

there are also some few other plants, but almost 99% are lithops: some Dinteranthus vanzylii and 7 other mesembs, 6 cacti and 5 stapelias.

It`s a kind of an experiment, lithops are frost resistant in some extend, but day time temperatures are usually higher in south of Africa. And the new leaves are growing in the "winter resting period".
I will see, what happens. I think, they will be rather slow in the spring.

Best wishes
Jürgen

You have done that very well, Jürgen! But hibernation outside will not work here in the Erzgebirge, we often have –13 °C even in this mild winter.

Yes, and it's cold here right now. For tomorrow there is even weather forecast with -16 °C at night. The whole next week will stay cold.
