'Green Ivory' seeds offered

Posted: Sun Jul 24, 2016 1:28 am

two years ago I discovered some green L. pseudotruncatella plants at Matk´s nursery in Berlin. This is the nursery, where the plants later decribed by Bernd Schlösser as L. pseudotruncatella subsp. pseudotruncatella var. riehmerae 'Green Ivory' came from
B. Schlösser confirmed my plants to be the cultivar, but they are not exactly the same strait as his seeds. I got seven green plants and 12 with intermediate or natural colours out of the batch at Matk´s nurery.
Last year I did some polination and now I was able to harvest some seeds. Germination is tested and good.

I am happy to be able offer seeds oft this new cultivar.

There are several cultivars I don´t have and I look for:
'Angels of Tony'
'Blue Moon'
'Chocolate Sprinkles'
'Fred's Redhorn'
'Green Diamond'
'Green River'
'Green Sandpoort'
'Kikusiyo Giyoku'
'Pearl Blush'
'Sage Sun's Hairs -ZW-'
'Shimada's Apricot'
'Silver Reed'
'Snow Fog'
'Split Pea'
'Steamy Windows'
'White Nymph'
'White Queen'

But also offers of seeds of other unnamed acf, cultivars and nice selections or special plants are wellcome.

Please send me a pm.

Herzliche Grüße aus Berlin,

I had a look at the link to green ivory. The plants look very similar to my plant of Lithops pseudotruncatella archerae that I have here. Are they the same thing or just very similar? I harvested some seed from mine this year and sowed it but so far the seedlings do not appear to have the green colour, so I am guessing they have crossed with other pseudotruncatella plants flowering here at the same time.

Hallo Mary,

to me the foto shows no 'Green Ivory'.
Lithops sometimes look very different, when grown under different conditions.
What I miss is the total lack of any yellow hint.
I think, the identification as L. pseudotruncatella subsp. archerea is correct.

Herzliche Grüße, Jürgen
