Happy days to everyone

I was in the old forum and are back again. I haven growing cacti and a little bit of succulents on and off for the last 40 years. The last years I have more time available and I am seriously growing and studying Lithops.
This winter I have been making pictures of Lithops seeds. For the people interested here the link:

I am interested in your technique for the seeds photos. I've been doing similar things with simple means ;)

to Jürgen:

Mesembs are wonderful things and I am not surprised that you recognized D. vanzijlii in my avatar but it is not. It is Lithops ruschiorum, the nellii form C 102. See pictures of both below.

to Willy
I use a full frame Nikon with 200 mm macro lens with added diopter (voorzetlens). What you see on the website are 600x400 pixel parts of the whole picture which are improved in Photoshop.
I use natural light so no flash. To make this work you need a very sturdy tripod. The 200 mm is necessary to keep some distance from the seeds to make the light work.

Welcome Chris and thank you for sharing your seed work. I have read that seeds of Dinteranthus were smaller than those of Lithops, but I could not ever imagine that they were so tiny!

Thanks Chris,
I'm using my old Sony H5 camera with a close-up lens (Sony achromatic 3,3 dioptry) and a reverse mounted 50 mm lens.

I use a home made "tray" to refect the light from the flash and the I use focus stacking in the PC ..

Dinterops (cropped) blue squares are 1 sq mm
