Hi Pete, that sounds like a good idea buying local. What Brom did not know, was that if you were keen to join the MSG, I would email you the seed list when I had it.

When their new seedlists come out they are inundated with orders especially from China and South Korea. I was told that last January MG. had over 1000 orders and sold out of Conophytums and Lithops long before all the orders were serviced. I have had excellent germination from Mesa Garden seeds but ...

When Tok sent me my seeds he said that there would be a lot of variation and to select the redder lines to match his in the Lithops Scrapbook. It has been a good year for me too, and I have also learned a lot again this year. I think our constant learning is what makes the hobby ( addiction ) so interesting.

I think this is to be expected because the seeds that germinated first will have a bigger and stronger root system than late germinators.
