Re: To water or not to water ?? X_x

Due to rain, high humidity && even hurricanes here in Fl I keep the plants indoors. I was worried the windowsill I have the plants on doesn't receive enough direct sunlight. Maybe a few-4. I had the light already and didn't want the plants to etilioate. The light I use is 120v. I thought it ...

Re: Hello from FL

It's in the south eastern part of the US. Since I've had them I've repotted them in to succulent mix with added perlite. At the moment it's mostly at the bottom of the pot while I have tiny rocks covering the rest I only watered them once since I've had them and do not plan on watering again for a w...

Re: To water or not to water ?? X_x

Hello Australian, I live in the northern hemisphere where they do not need much water. I use an artificial light to give the plants adequate sun. In the beginning I put the light a little close and some of the plants look a little burnt. Most of the calluses appear superficial although I'm sure they...

Re: Hello from FL

Hello Allan && thank you for your replies/accepting me in your lithops group "). I'm hoping to gain more knowledge on these little guys, a new game of patience  . Most of the calluses are superficial on the skin. The plants are all firm all the way to the root. When I've experience...

Hello from FL

Hello fellow gardeners! I'm fairly new to the lithop world but am familiar with succulents. My first lithops did not survive (poor care previous to buying/ water related rot). I purchased a few more a month ago. I frequent another forum but was looking for one specifically for lithops. Mine are doin...

Re: Is it worth

Unfortunately all posts, including replies to posts must be approved prior to being posted for members to see. I have been waiting days for my question to be posted. My plants could have died already. The delay hinders the purpose of this forum. If we must register to post why must members posts nee...

To water or not to water ?? X_x

Hello! Thanks in advance for reading/replying ") . I have these lithops I received about a month ago. Since then they've changed a little but I'm not sure if it's a good thing. I watered them a little last week as they seemed pretty wrinkly and I've been keeping inside by a window with some art...
