It depends how thorough the growers of the seeds of the original Aquamarine C128A were and how much culling they did on their crop. If the pollen got contaminated, there is a chance for mutations. Eric of Oz-Lithops does a lot of culling of his seedlings to make sure he can offer the best.

A lot of Lithops cultivar tend to be unstable. So getting plants with a standard colour is very hard.
